Dr. Janice Staab has been a practicing philosophical counselor and life coach for ten years. An experienced and enthusiastic teacher, she finds great joy in helping clients learn the lessons that can change life for the better. Among the most common issues explored in her practice are:
Learning to speak with an honest, authentic voice
Overcoming limiting habits and behaviors
Setting and attaining personal and professional goals
Organization and time management
Prioritizing your own needs
Dr. Staab believes that all people have the power to create better lives from raw materials found in their own experiences, values and strengths. But too many of us get bogged down in old habits of acting, thinking and feeling. Dr. Staab teaches clients how to identify and eradicate unhelpful habits while establishing new more effective habits.
Dr. Staab works primarily with women who are navigating the common, but often complicated transitions in life such as career change, divorce, the empty nest and the “what do I want to do with my life after 40” syndrome. Many of her clients use philosophical counseling in conjunction with or as a follow up to traditional psychological therapy.
